Eternal Lands (EL)
is a free, multiplayer online role-playing game “MMORPG”
Eternal Lands is different from other MMORPG’s that there aren’t any character classes this way you wont be tied down to a job or set of racial attributes. All the players in Eternal Lands can do everything the other players can do. Your Background, attributes and choice of vocation can be developed during gameplay and changed anytime.
Eternal Lands The setting is a medieval world. There are so many different facets to the game such as the weapon classes as well as fictional elements such as other races and magic.
You begin Eternal lands by selecting the race, name and appearance of your character. Your Skills and abilities start off at a beginning level just like any other mmorpg . There are six races available in the game three of them are pay to play however like the Ogre.
The graphics are pretty darn good, with realistic water, animals, and land. The sound, was pretty hard to get working and comes in a separate package that must be installed. The music is pretty good. The sound suddenly stops when you enter a building leaving you in dead silence. I would suggest not to bother downloading the sound package since the sound needs a heck of a lot more refining.
I can’t recommend this game enough, I had lots of fun with it and they even have a special download for Ubuntu as well as regular flavors of Linux.. Check out the site here
